| From newspaper clipping for Nov, 1901, sent by Donna Carver Larson (unk which newspaper, either The Thirteen Towns or a Bagley, Minnesota, newspaper): On Tuesday last, the 26th, inst., a marriage ceremony was performed at Bagley, that united in wedlock Miss Hensena Larson [sic], of that place, to Fred A. Carver, of this vicinity. They arrived here Wednesday afternoon and will make their home on Mr. Carver's farm west of here. This occurrance [sic] accounts for the new and comfortable home that the groom has had built this summer. Mr. Carver is well and favorably known in Fosston and all will join in wishing the newly married couple unalloyed happiness. The Thirteen Towns, Eighty Years Ago, November 29, 1901-- In a wedding at Bagley Miss Huenna Larson [sic] became the bride of Fred A. Carver of Fosston. Daughter, Eva Harriette, died at nearly seven months old. The Thirteen Towns, February 14, 1910 Born - To Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carver on Saturday, Jan. 8th, a bouncing baby boy. Mother and child are doing fine. [Orison] The Thirteen Towns, February 18, 1910 A party of young folk gathered at F. A. Carver's Saturday evening. The floors were cleared and dancing was indulged until the early hours of the morning. 1910 US Census, Rosebud Township, Polk County, MN, recorded 10 May, 1910 Fred A. Carver, head of household, age 44 [birth yr. would be 1865], M1 (first marriage) 8 yrs married, born in Maine, both parents born in Maine. Hancine, wife, age 25 [birth year would be 1885], M1 (first marriage) 8 yrs married, born in Minnesota, both parents born in Denmark Aince C, daughter, age 7 [Inez] Vava F. daughter, age 4 [Viva] Susade F. daughter, age 2 [Sadie] Orins P. son, age 4/12 [Orison, 4 months old] Ore Phere, nephew, age 22, born in Maine, both parents born in Maine [From later data, this is probably the youngest son of John E. McPherson (aka Pherson in some Maine records), and Orel McPherson or Pherson - misspelled as Ore Phere - would be Fred's half-brother's son, thus related to Fred, and Fred's nephew. John was Margaret's son by her first marriage, and Orel was her grandson.] [Simon C. Rice was the enumerator of the 1910 US census for this household, and he is the one to be credited for abominable spelling!] 1920 US Census, Sletten Township, Polk County, Minnesota Carver, Fred A., Head of household, Age 55, Born in Maine, both parents born in Maine, Occupation: Farmer Hansena, Wife, Age 35, Born in Denmark, Mother Tongue: Danish Inez C., Age 17 Viva F., Age 13 Sadie F., Age 11 Orison P., Age 10 Kermit L., Age 7 Name Unknown, Female, Age 2/12 [Two months old, Maida Margaret, b 25 Dec 1919] The Thirteen Towns, May 3, 1912 A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred A.
