| Notes for Catherine WHITE | ||||||||||
| Date of death quoted from New England Historic and Genealogical Record as being from Wm. Bradford's pocketbook by Clifford Nickels Carver in The Carver Family of New
England,
p.44. Widow. Catherine White Leggett Carver died soon after her husband. John and Catherine had no children who lived to adulthood, although there seems to have been two children who died in infancy, according to one web site that lists a brief bio of John and Catherine http://www.pilgrimhall.org/CarverJohn.htm and Clifford Nickels Carver refers to one child who died in infancy in Holland (thus, I'm listing only the one infant of unknown sex who died in Holland). Catherine signed as a witness to two marriages. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.pilgrimhall.org/CarverJohnrecords.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.leidenarchief.nl/pilgrims/html/pilgrims/regestenen/1022.htm 1022/B41v/21-7-1615Marriage certificate Parties: Roger Chandler, bachelor, sayworker, Colcester, Isabel Chilton, spinster, Canterbury; Marriage certificate Roger Chandler and Isabel Chilton, 1615 Witnesses: Roger Wilson, Catherine Carver, Sarah Minther. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.leidenarchief.nl/pilgrims/html/pilgrims/regestenen/1034.htm 1034/B64/4-6-1617Marriage certificate Parties: Robert Cushman, widower of Sarah Cushman, woolcomber, Canterbury, dw. in alley in Nonnensteeg, Mary Singleton, widow of Thomas Singleton, Sandwich; Marriage certificate Robert Cushman and Mary Singleton, 1617 Witnesses: John Keble, Catharine Carver. | ||||||||||
