An award winning clay artist, Haddie designs and makes decorative
pieces and sculptural works. These include floor vases (18" to 36" in height), wall hangings, urns, goldfish ponds and free standing sculpture.

These artistic pieces are made from earthenware, stoneware or porcelain clays and employ various construction, glazing and firing techniques.

Her art work is influenced by the graceful organic forms found in nature - from the deserts of the Southwest to the tropics of Nicaragua where she spends time working with Potters for Peace.

                

Haddie's work can be found nation wide in exhibits, galleries, private and corporate collections.

A dedicated craftsperson, Haddie has also developed a complete line of functional hand thrown pottery. She mixes her own glazes to provide a unique and broad selection of colors and then high fires these pieces to 2370 degs.

This pottery is intended to be used. It is lead - free, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Haddies functional pottery and one of a kind pieces are on display and for sale at the studio.

Nicaraguan pottery are also for sale at Black Bear Pottery.
