| Hi, we are Paul Wilson and Mary Abendroth and we live in a log house (timmerhus) on a lake in the woods east of Brainerd, MN. We are building a life, log by log and tune by tune, from the rich cultural traditions of our Scandinavian ancestors. Paul is the leader of a couple of folkmusic groups, Skål Klubb and Skålmusik and a budding luthier. We also perform as a duo at Scandinavian festivals, teach Scandinavian music and folkdance in schools and generally hobnob and carry-on with other folks who value such things. It's a simple life but a very rewarding one. |
