Data Recovery
Our center repairs computers and recovers data from machines that have been damaged by software errors, operator mishaps and the occasional computer virus. But when the challenge is bigger - and your computer seems severely damaged or utterly destroyed - we're up to the task.
Thunderstorms pack a lot of punch. Our shop recovers data from computers that have been damaged or destroyed by lightning, water or other disasters.
Suggestion:
During inclement weather, unplug the telephone and electrical lines to your computer equipment - all of it. If your systems are mission-critical and MUST remain operational at all times, invest in a quality UPS backup unit and contact a qualified electrician to help you adequately ground your premise.
Forensics.
Sometimes, our customers need to obtain data from perfectly good systems. In the interest of those who need to recover information that has been erased - or to investigate the clandestine activities of particular computer users, we are offering advanced data discovery services.If you are interested in discarding an unused computer, please contact our office. We are collecting computers of all types - working or not. For your protection, we permanently erase all information from donated computers. Computers which can be salvaged are often retrofitted or upgraded and are used for testing purposes. Occasionally, they are donated to charitable organizations or provided as courtesy units to our customers.
In the event that conventional recovery methods cannot be applied (examples include damage by fire or water, media failure or malicious erasure) our normal shop rates will not apply. Customers will be notified of the additional charges before any such work is performed.
