| Source: Mentz Fredly PNR 5356 I couldn't find any baptism records for 1785 (the year of birth Mentz originally had for Ingeborg Olsdatter) online in Ytterøy prestegjeld. Eleven records for the name Ingeborg Olsdatter and variant spellings on her name in the Nord-Trøndelag, all the parishes, other years, but nothing specifically for 1785 for Ytterøy; all the other years in all other parishes are for years before or after 1785. I will need advice about the below possible or probable records for Ingeborg since I don't yet know which farm she was born on. Best guess: She was born in Ytterøy prestegjeld, probably baptized in Vestvik Kirke which is in Ytterøy prestegjeld, but possibly, or probably, in 1787, not 1785. If this is the correct baptism and census data for this Ingeborg Olsdatter, the location name Saltwig or Salatvig might be added to her patronymic name, and that of her father's name as reflected on the baptism record to indicate where she was born????? | ||||||||||||||||
