Skålmusik is a Scandinavian-American
folkband from Minnesota, the immigrant home of many Scandinavians.
Founded in 1990, our gang has been going strong for quite a few
years now, touring all over the midwest and occasionally traveling
even farther afield to perform our fun-loving brand of old time
music.
It's been a good three years since we recorded Barnburner,
so we decided to put on the coffee, have a potluck dinner and
record a few tunes over at our place. After all, no really good
music can ever be made without having food involved somehow!
Here is the result, and we hope that you like it!
Var så god!
Mary Abendroth - harmonium, vocals
Arne Anderson - harmony fiddle, piano accordion, kid bro
Bob Anderson - stand up bass, older bro, guffel beater
eater
Harold Herboldt - piano accordion

banjo
