Three-Cheese Mostaccioli & Sausage
Causes heart failure after third bite. Tastes good though...
Ingredients

1 Package (16 oz.) mostaccioli or penne pasta 2 packages (10 oz. each) pork sausage patties, cut into small pieces 1 onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped |
1 jar (30 oz.) chunky garden-style spaghetti sauce 1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese 2 cups shredded Mosszarella cheese, divided 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. |
Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pasta according to package directions. In heavy skillet, cook sausage, onion and bell pepper until onion is tender. Drain. In large bowl, combine pasta, sausage mixture, spaghetti sauce, ricotta cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese. Spoon into 3-1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. |
