But encourage one another daily,
as long as it is called Today,
so that none of you may be hardened
by sin's deceitfulness.
Hebrews 3:13 NIV
The Iron Range Christian Center is an independent cellular Pentecostal church functioning in Irondale Township, Minnesota, on the Cuyuna Iron Range, near Ironton. We have organized so that the ministries of a church are available to those who have been forgotten and cast off. Our logo is reminiscent of Armour No. 1, an underground mining shaft that used to be just outside of Ironton. Can the Holy Spirit descend again upon this former mining town? We think so.

History
The Iron Range Christian Center is a Pentecostal group of Christian believers organized to edify one another in the body of Christ. Our roots go back to the early days of Pentecost with the Baptism of Fire being received by many in the area (circa 1913) through the ministry of Mrs. McGill. Several early Pentecostal churches came into existence -- some joined with the Assemblies of God as a denomination (circa 1921) through the ministries of Jim Menzies and Frank Lindquist -- others were trained by Aimee Semple McPherson -- others remained independent Pentecostals. When in the mid-seventies, one of the last remaining founders was forced to leave one church under unknown and questionable circumstances--he along with several others saw Ichabod in gray letters over that church. That particular formerly Pentecostal church started down a path of repeated marginal ministries ultimately with leadership denying the power of the Holy Spirit and the leadership partnering with evil. The leadership has forced people to leave the church who were early active members and even some who were just new converts. Through that entire time period, there have been numerous church splits and the witness of the church in the community has left a sizable number of individuals with whom Pentecostalism has left a bad taste. Revival could have come, but we watched leadership stop it: Ichabod was again prophesied and realized. God is not mocked. Can those impossible wounds be healed? God is the God of the impossible.
The Iron Range Christian Center is a new beginnings for Pentecostalism here and now. Our revival spirit started in 1912-13 and continues through the move of God in the 50-60s with a touch of the current Brownsville Revival spirit, and the Argentina revival. We now continue in the new millenium in anticipation of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We watch the signs and wonders in the authority of the name of Jesus. While we tarry, the Gifts of the Spirit dwell with us to further the work of Christ.
