Various Miracles

Heb 2:3-4 NIV
This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord,
was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,
and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

6/25/02, 12:25
Matt Semler fell about 25 feet and is at the hospital in Onamia.  Please pray.

6/25/02, 2:52
They have done X-rays from head to foot and his neck brace was removed.  He has feeling in toes, fingers, etc.  He remained conscious the whole time and says his butt is sore.  Apparently he landed on his hip and right elbow.  A bone in his arm where bending occurs has been shattered and may need to be rebuilt;  it is near the open wound on his elbow.  (Even so I watched him sign some release forms.)

Intentions now are to transfer him soon to the Crosby hospital by ambulance.  He got his first shot of morphine about 1:45--and is in good spirits.

His supervisor told me that another workman saw him fall and his feet landed first on something they refer to as "dowels."  That apparently helped to break his fall and turn him on his side.  He was 28 feet up tying off some re-bar and landed on concrete.

NOW THE REAL STORY
Mabel, his mother, was awakened at 3 AM this morning to a dream/vision of her son falling.  She started praying.

To Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Savior, Healer, and Protector, all glory, honor and praise.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS OF NAZARETH, MAY MATT'S WOUNDS SPEEDILY HEAL..

6/28/02
Matt gets to go home, today.  They found a fracture in his foot so he has to wear a boot for a while.  And a few discs are compressed so he has a brace he is going to use for a while.  He has a plate in his arm holding bones together while they heal. He actually went to the Brainerd hospital, but today--only three days later--he is going home.  GOD ANSWERS PRAYER.

6/19/02  "You must have seen a healer"
At least that is what the doctor said, "You must have seen a healer."

At the Iron Range Healing Service on Friday, June 7, 2002, a man who was having trouble with his foot came forward in the prayer line to be prayed for by Rev. Richard Sigmund.  He also had a crooked finger.  We watched as the Lord straightened his finger and we saw him later showing others the straightened finger and he was stomping his foot.  But that miracle is not this story.

Saturday, the 8th, we learned that Lloyd, who was in the audience while the man was receiving prayer for his foot and finger, felt something happening in his wrist.  He had been to the doctor and it was bone against bone--no cartilage--and great pain.  But something happened and the pain was now gone for that part of his wrist and hand. He testified to that again on Sunday and the following Tuesday.  No Pain.

On Monday, my wife was relating the incident of the crooked finger to someone who said critically, "Did you have before and after pictures?"

Tonight, a week and a half later, I received the following report.

Lloyd had been to the doctor.  The X-rays that had been taken before showed that the cartilage was gone in three distinct areas of his hand and wrist.  The X-rays that were taken yesterday indicated that the cartilage was restored in those three areas.  The doctor looked at him and said, "You must have seen a healer."  Lloyd said yes.  Lloyd was visited by the great physician. Jesus created new cartilage in his hand and wrist.

Another portion of Lloyd's hand still needs help.  The doctor is planning on some procedure whereby he predicts 100% usage within a year.  Not too long ago, Lloyd had trouble holding a coffee cup.  Tonight I watched him hold a serving dish of food at arm's length.  Do we have before and after pictures?  Will X-rays do?

June 7-9, 2002
The presence of the Lord was powerful for the Sigmund meetings.  Without that manifest presence, we could not have seen the miracles we saw.  Legs lengthened, backs straightened, emotions healed, tumors gone, strength in legs and feet restored, finger straightened, neck and back pains gone, spine straightened, wrist restored, electricity through pray cloths, and more that I can't even remember including some diseases I can't spell or pronounce.  Yes, people were falling out under the presence and power of the Lord--whom else could cause such spontaneous joy overcoming some who were in great emotional pain?  For those whom want before and after pictures, consider the witness of  the ones who experienced and the ones who watched.  Your doubt cannot remove their reality--you were not there.  And then at Gethsemane, some could not even get within 3 feet of Richard before the power and presence of the Lord put them on the floor and he said or did nothing.  And I watched people talking and showing others how God had touched them. This is called "witnessing"--telling what God has done.

January 14, 2002  I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you mentioning that Richard Sigmund was going to be in Burnsville.  I enjoyed him so much when I visited you the weekend he was at IRCC.  My parents live in Brainerd and my mother had mentioned to me he was visiting IRCC, so I came up that weekend and I was so blessed.  I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and my life has changed so much since that experience.  I live in Maplewood which is about 40 minutes from Burnsville.  I needed a healing to my body and I went to see Richard Sigmund.  He actually called me from the audience to come up for healing.  The Lord is so good!  I am totally healed!  I will be going for an ultrasound test tomorrow morning, and I know they will find absolutely nothing!  I feel so great!  My sister came with me to Burnsville also, and she was totally healed also!  Praise the Lord!

January 10, 2002  This is from the guitar player and his wife that were at our house in September.  I think it's always good to pass on the healings!
"... Chris's mom was told that she has cancer on the Friday prior to Christmas.  But, to make a long story short, it appears that God has healed her!  They took a sample of the mass and went in to check on it again and it was gone!!!  She does have to back in a couple of weeks to get checked again to be sure that the section of her colon has stretched back out to normal size.   Isn't God wonderful!!!"

November 30, 2001   Just to update you on my visit to the Dr. yesterday...
I see a Pulminologist every 6 months for follow-up on my Lupus. I have SLE or the type which breaks down any internal organs. My lungs have been severely affected and I have been on many different inhalers for several years. When Bro. Sigmund was here, I went up and asked for healing as I am tired of all the pills and meds. that are associated with my disease.  I asked God to please start a work in me so that I would be able to get rid of all or at least some of these meds. I did not care if he chose to heal only a small part of me or my entire body. Either way I feel that I am a winner because I am in God's Hands.  I was able to take my breathing tests in full yesterday without taking meds inbetween (before I could breathe). A year ago, the same test took over 1 1/2 hours. Yesterday 1/2 hour. And I felt great when I finished. Praise God! He has done a work in me, once again!  My test scores for breathing a year ago were, 62, 58, and 63. Meaning that this was all the lung capacity that was being used--with medication. Yesterday's scores were as  follows: 95, 92, 94....without medication and only taking 1/2 hour to complete.  Praise the Lord! And I will continue to praise Him, as He is making my life better.

July 18, 2001  --  Reported at Wednesday Preparation.  The MRI on Mabel's knee indicated she was a candidate for knee replacement surgery.  Several Doctors had confirmed this diagnosis and she had an appointment to determine when the surgery was to take place.  This time, the Doctor had a new picture of her knee and informed her that she now had the knee of a person twenty years younger.

February 15, 2001 -- Yes, I do believe that God answered our prayers long before the accident happened. So here are the main details:

At 4:30 am on Monday morning   I woke up with a vision of my daughter Kristy at the age of 7 or 8.  She was holding her arms out to me and calling, "mommy, mommy, help me!" I began to pray for her not knowing what would then transpire in the next few hours. I then drifted off to sleep after praying thinking at the time that this was indeed a strange way of waking up, but then the Spirit has done this many times before, and I have prayed for complete strangers in the middle of the night.

By  8:00 a.m. we received a phone call, and it was from Kristy, she was crying and very upset to the point that it was hard for her to talk. We finally got out of her that she had been involved in a car accident and that she was over by the Cascade Methodist Church, near Deerwood.  We got dressed and immediately drove to the area.

When we got there, the ambulance attendants were already getting her out of her car. [They had stopped on the way to another call, so they were there ahead of time.] They were very careful as they thought she had neck and or back injuries.  We followed them to the hospital where she was assessed by the on-call doctor. They were checking her over real good.  When the doctor came out, she said that there could be multiple injuries and they were going to check it all out before making any decisions.

At that point they were looking at ruptured spleen (which, if indicated, would require immediate surgery), broken pelvis, and a broken back. So onto the X-Ray dept.  She was gone for a long time and when she returned  the doctor came back in and told us that everything came out just fine. Pastor Wes was with us through this whole time as well and we all continued to pray during the tests. God is so good. He took care of the problems before they even occurred.  Praise God!

Kristy was sent home with some pain medication and instructions to lay low for several days. Other than a few black and blue marks on her body and some muscle soreness, she is doing very well.

February 13, 2001 --  Here are the events that happened this weekend with Steve. Becki and I received a call from Holly on Saturday. She started that Steve was having a heart attack and that he was on his way to the hospital. When Becki and I got there he was already in ICU. All the tests that they had performed showed that he had a heart attack. The doctors said that with this heart attack, there would be damage to his heart muscle. That scared everybody. We sat and prayed and comforted Holly.

After awhile they moved him from ICU to a cardiac ward. When went and saw him. He looked pale and was in a little pain. We prayed for him and things just flowed. When we left he was looking better. They said they were going to keep him in the hospital for a couple of days to run some more tests.

On Sunday I left and went up to church and Becki went to church here and played the piano at Marv’s. We prayed a lot in church that day. I could feel this flowing spirit in the church. When I was driving home I still could feel this spirit.

We got a call from Holly on Monday. She said that Steve was home and that it wasn’t a heart attack and that the test showed nothing was wrong with him. Doctor’s could not explain what had happened to him. Steve said that he thanks everyone for praying for him and he thinks that it saved him. He eyes are open now.

I believe this is a sign of miracles to come. That God has all these things and we just have to open our eyes to see them.
