The mission of Rejoicing in Christ Ministries is to share the love of
Jesus with the world.
With God's help and dierection this includes:
REJOICING IN CHRIST MINISTRIES is an evangelistic and missions outreach which combines a preaching, teaching, and music ministry with missions outreach to Honduras and Central America. The theme of the ministry is "Sharing the love of Jesus with the world." As we have ministered across the US and overseas we seen lives touched by the Spirit of God.
Gregory Paul Chase is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and has become an anointed evangelist and teacher. He is ordained with World Bible Way Fellowship in Irving, Texas . Greg has a heart for street evangelism. He also is a singer and leads praise and worship with guitar and voice. Reports of ministry include salvation, Holy Spirit baptism, and healing as God meets His people. Sermon titles include "Love Them Where They Live," "Walking in the Spirit," "Walking in the Blessings of God,". "Wake Up Bro," and "Banana Split Christianity."
Several pictures from Honduras are included. One of the pictures
shows food and clothing distribution after hurricane Mitch. Another
picture shows the Hondurans praising the Lord in San Jorge. Two other
pictures show some Honduran children. The Hondurans are a needy people
so far as material things are concerned and particularly so since the hurricane
which devastated many villages and resulted in thousands of deaths.
Mission trips to Honduras are scheduled about twice per year--March
and November--with the opportunity for individuals or groups to participate
in a wide variety of mission ministries. We are always looking for
help in providing supplies for the Hondurans including medical supplies,
clothing, and food. In many cases it is more cost effective to provide
the monies to purchase food and clothing in Honduras rather than to pay
the high shipping costs. Contributions are tax deductible and are
always welcome.
Home missions trips include, Mardi Gras in February, the Indy 500 in
May and a 4th of July outing. For the year 2000 this will be in Detroit
Lakes, Minnesota.
An important ancillary function to the ministry in the United States is the sound reinforcement system which can readily provide high quality (and high intensity) sound for groups of 2000 to 3000 people. The system has been used in several parts of the US with high satisfaction in each location. Design and installation assistance for cost effective and adequate sound reinforcement for churches is also a part of this outreach ministry.

Good Morning Everyone
I just got back from Honduras last Thursday at 12 a.m. (Thanksgiving
day) and went to work the next day, so this is the first chance to send
a report out. Sorry.
Here it is: Honduras report 2001
In August 2001, I spent a week in Honduras praying for future events.
God told me four things:
1. Have No Fear -- Is 54:17 No weapon formed against me will prosper.
2. Get Going and preach to the people everywhere that time is short
and we must tell of his love.-- Mt 16:18,19 and Mt 16:24-28 also Lk 4:18
( Let’s Get Going )
3. Get back to the vision God gave me.
4. Have confidence in the direction -- Ps 1:1-6 and Prov 3:5-7
God basically had me go back to the basics to rebuild and reinforce my
call.
In November 2001 we returned to Honduras to see many things. God said
he would open my eyes on this trip and would give a firmer direction to
the ministry here in the States and in Honduras.
Due to the September 11th attack we only had Rev Wayne Sanders from
Common Ground Ministries and myself to go on the trip. (Wayne is the person
who got me going to Honduras.) We felt that God wanted to take care of
some relationships and business in Honduras and a large group would hinder
that. We also found that people were leery of travel and short of finances
for
this trip.
Well, here is what happened:
1. I was delayed due to fog out of Nashville on the 9th and missed
my connection so I got to San Pedro Sula on the 10th and hit the ground
running.
As we arrived at Youth for Christ where we stay, we noticed an ambulance
across the street where a friend (Gabby) lives. Her grandpa was very sick.
He was 87 and her dad asked us to come and pray for him so we did and he
prayed to receive Christ. This was the last time he was coherent enough
to talk or listen. He went home to Jesus a few days later and we were asked
to come to the funeral. When we arrived there was no pastor and they
asked Wayne to do the
service. This is very unusual and a great honor. Funerals
are normally just for the family and close friends. Not even a pastor
is there, let alone a service.
2. Over the 2 weeks we were there, we went to several churches to speak.
God showed up and we saw many great miracles and salvations. We also went
to several houses to pray for the sick. In several restaurants and
on the street we were able to share Jesus. God showed me 3 churches to
concentrate my prayer for. And the next trip, to do 3 day meetings
at each church with a day of prayer and fasting before each meeting. Please
join with me in praying for these churches.
A. San Jorge (the mountain church)
B. Victoria en Cristo
C. Beinwevous
I know God is going to do something very special over the next months
in these churches.
3. God also showed us the real heart of a few churches and that they are not in His perfect will but He still loves them.
4. God also told me to return with a prayer team in January to pray for 2002 trips and the future of Honduras. If you would like to be a part of this let me know.
5. The last weekend we were there, we went to La Cieba and met with a doctor from the US that we know, he offered to ship a van that was given to Wayne and will pay taxes on it so we will have a vehicle over there. Now all we need is a small pickup truck and we will not have to rent anything other than the bus for our trips.
6. Wayne was given 2 lots in Port of Cortez to build a house on for the ministry to use when we come. It will cost about $25,000.00 to complete and the lots by themselves are worth $25,000.00.
7. God placed a couple of people in our paths for extra special prayer. First is a young man, Edwardo, who has some kind of brain disease that paralyzed him. He is a great musician and has a studio and is now bed ridden and can only communicate by blinking his eyes. His motor skills are gone but he understands everything you say.
There is a young girl I met in December 1999 after Hurricane Mitch wrecked
Honduras. Her Mom and Dad died during the storm. She was staying
with some neighbors who have treated her like a slave. Her pastor asked
then, if we could help and we tried but we lost contact with them. Well,
she showed up at Victoria En Cristo church and she knew us immediately
and we knew here. She is still with the same family and needs help.
If God would put her on your heart and you would help we could have her
come to San Pedro Sula to work and live with a pastor and his family for
only $100.00 per month. This would feed and cloth her and she could
start back
into school and be safe again. Please pray about being part of this.
Well, that's the trip. We will return in January with a prayer team and then in March with a ministry and construction team. There is room for many people and we can use the help. A trip like this is a life changing experience that everyone should have.
Trips cost approximately $1500.00 for 7-10 days of work and ministry depending on where you are coming from. And it is $75.00 for each day over 10 days. If you can only come for 4 or 5 days we can discount some for that as well. Honduras is only 2 1/2 hrs south of Houston, TX, so it is possible to make a short trip worth while.
Thank You for your continued prayers and support.

I hope that you are good, enjoying the Lord's Blessings beside your
